Reminder that 2014 registration discount deadline is fast approaching (August 15th). 
If you arrive early on Friday there is a free demonstration, segmented pens and small turnings, at the Woodcraft store near the Larimer County Event Center by Mark Gisi (9:00 to 11:30).
The Rocky Mountain Woodturners are happy to announce our annual woodturning symposium to be held on September 12th, 13th and 14th, 2014.  It will once again be at The Ranch/Larimer County Fairgrounds, Loveland, Colorado.  
This year early sign in on Friday, September 12th, starts at 1:30 until 5:30 PM. The first rotation begins on Friday at 3:30. Meet and greet the demonstrators on Friday, 6-8 PM, at the Loveland Woodcraft store.  There will be a total of 42 excellent demonstrations during Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Featured demonstrators include David Ellsworth, Kip Christensen, Kirk Deheer, Jason Schneider, Michael Blankenship, Rick Orr, John Giem, Dale Bonertz, Allen Jensen, David Nittmann and Rudolph Lopez.  Also included are a large trade show, instant gallery, banquet, and live auction Saturday evening conducted by a professional auctioneer.  A lunch package is also available.  Please check the website for up-to-date information, rmwoodturningsymposium.com.
Registration is now open, with a discount if postmarked by August 15th.     I am trying to find a copy of a chart ,publish by Rockymountain Woodturners on about 8/2/2018,showing the relationship of the length of a segment and the circumference of a ring.Any ideas? Morrie Bishaf. mbishaf@gmail.com. Thanks

    • Wow! I dont have anything like that, yet there was just a segmented workshop by AAW that was done in September. You can search the AAW (woodturner.org) site and or call them for help !
